About the job
Commitment: This is a new part-time permanent role of 24 hours per week, available from March 2023. Food Works values a healthy work life balance, which includes a 36 hour full time working week and a generous 32 days of leave (pro rata). Food Works open 7 days a week and you will be expected to work one weekend day as part of your working week. We aim to agree working schedules with consideration for everyone’s personal lives and actively work to support flexible working hours.
Salary: £13,739.23 to £15,462.72 per annum, depending on the candidate

The purpose of this job
Food Works is building a movement for fair and sustainable food. We do this by creating inspiring food services that are both sustainable and accessible for all. We need an experienced organiser to help us maintain and develop the systems and procedures in place that make our ideas scalable and effective. You will be supporting the CFO in keeping accurate records and reports, and developing the related systems and processes to support the anticipated growth in transactions.
Key responsibilities
Core job
Support the delivery of all Food Works activities by maintaining efficient administrative processes and systems. This includes finance and IT operational activities.
Support the CFO in the delivery of efficient and reliable IT systems.
Maintain effective internal and external reporting, showing our impact as well as supporting management decisions.
Create and update data sets that evolve in line with the organisation’s needs.
Maintain the financial accounting system and assist the CFO with general bookkeeping.
Interpret large, complex data sets to provide insight and analysis to help inform decision making.
Undertake any other duties commensurate with the level of responsibility for the job and actively support the aims of Food Works Sheffield.

Work as part of the Food Works team and support colleagues with their work where needed
Support and respect colleagues, volunteers and customers, and make everyone feel welcome and valued.
