We can give your employees a high-energy, purposeful day away from the office. Our corporate volunteering isn’t just extra hands, but a chance to tackle the big jobs that drive our mission forward – often in areas where we lack skills, time or resources to complete what we need.

Whether they are getting stuck into a busy kitchen shift, getting their hands dirty in the greenhouse, or navigating the ‘mountain of carrots’ in our warehouse, our participants consistently tell us how much they have got out of their time with us.

The experience

This can be any or all of the following depending on numbers:

• Production shifts in one of our kitchens (prepping up to 150+ meals) that are tubbed and sold around the Sheffield region.
• Helping with logistics and surplus food at our Handsworth warehouse.
• Hands-on seasonal work at our Norton plant nursery.
• Bespoke workshops tailored to your team e.g. cookery skills workshop

The impact 

As well as strengthening team relationships and building a deep understanding of the food system, when you spend a day with Food Works, your team isn’t just helping out. They become part of the engine behind our daily operations that keep Food Works going.
