The Food Works Kitchen is all about upcycling food.

Upcycling reduces waste and extends the life of ingredients.

We showcase how tasty and nutritious meals can be produced using unwanted ingredients and locally grown produce. Our chefs and volunteers cook and bake everything from scratch in our kitchens with zero waste. Even our spent coffee grounds are freshly baked into delicious cookies!

Upcycling food means we can use ingredients to nourish people in the healthiest and most enjoyable way.

Hot meals, barista coffees, cakes and pastries are available daily on a Pay What You Can Afford basis with a minimum contribution of £1.00. Enjoy in our community space, or takeaway by bringing your own container or cup.

Just Meals are available at all of our Food Hubs on a Pay What You Can Afford basis with a minimum contribution of £1.00. You can also subscribe to our meals collection service to pick up at a partner hub or our hubs closest to you.

Please note we no longer offer any external catering. If you would like to book a table for your group let us know!
