We recently had the pleasure of hosting a fantastic team from the Waterman Group for a volunteer day at our farm and nursery at Norton Nurseries. They joined us as part of National Volunteers’ Week, and what a day it was.
The team truly embraced the spirit of the day, getting stuck in with a variety of tasks. From meticulously preparing vegetable beds and potting chives and cucumbers to carefully planting courgettes and helping with general garden maintenance. It’s clear they’re not afraid to get their hands dirty, and their efforts made a real difference in a single afternoon.
It was wonderful to see them enjoying the fresh air and physical activity. We’re already looking forward to welcoming them back later this year so they can see the progress their plants have made.
We’re so grateful to the Waterman Group for choosing to spend one of their corporate volunteer days with us. It’s truly impactful to see companies like theirs empowering their staff to make a difference in their local communities.
