Kiveton Park & Wales Community Development Trust has launched its brand new Family Hub at the Old Colliery Offices, creating a warm and playful space for children aged 0–5 and their families. More than 100 parents, carers and little ones attended the launch event on 7th November.
The new Hub offers a packed programme of early-years activities, including interactive storytelling, sensory play, messy play sessions and themed weeks exploring everything from colour and texture to nature and music. Led by newly appointed coordinator Ross Cadman, families can enjoy structured sessions while also connecting with other parents in a supportive peer-mentoring environment.
Alongside the celebrations, the Trust also became one of our newest partner hubs, meaning Food Works Just Meals are now available in Kiveton Park. The meals are already proving popular with local families looking for tasty, affordable options.
By bringing Just Meals into the community, the Family Hub will help ensure families with young children have easy access to nutritious, low-cost food to support wellbeing, reducing food waste and helping budgets stretch further.
