The constant rain and cold temperatures didn’t stop our volunteers putting their best foot forward at Nether Edge Farmers Market last week. We spoke to so many people about all the amazing work Food Works has been doing over the past 10 years, and even sold a few copies of our brand new cook book!
We’re very pleased to have been chosen alongside Heeley City Farm to be the beneficiaries from the Nether Edge Christmas Market to be held on Sunday December 7th.
Food Works was recently invited to attend a performance of the show 3 Acres And A Cow, a history of land rights and protest told through folk song and story.
Summer is here, our tomatoes are ripening, and at Norton Nursery we’re starting to think about saving some of our delicious varieties for seed.
