Our tomatoes are officially in the ground! It feels like only yesterday we sowed these tiny seeds – time truly flies inside the nursery.

Most of this year’s crop was saved from last year’s harvest. They’ve been on quite a journey since the end of January, moving from the germination chamber to the heat mats, and finally into the nutrient-rich soil.

As always, a huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers! They’ve been working hard to plant out row after row with expert care. Here’s to another bumper harvest!

Variety spotlight

We have some amazing (and hilariously named) varieties this year, including:

  • Yellow Porkchop: A stunning, sweet yellow beefsteak tomato.

  • Cream Sausage: A unique, sausage shaped tomato perfect for salsas and sauces.

Once our tomato plants start fruiting, they’ll be heading straight into our patron boxes!
